For general care and maintenance, simply wipe away most spills or marks with a damp cloth or use an all-purpose cleaner such as Ajax Spray n Wipe. Streaky marks sometimes appear on dark colours after cleaning. An all-purpose cleaner such as Windex spray cleaner or Ajax Spray n Wipe usually removes them. Rubbing Gently with a clean and dry cloth brings back the brightness of laminates.
Avoid scorers and abrasives as they will damage the surface. Don’t cut on the surface and keep waxes and polishes away as they dull the natural shine. Don’t use strongly acidic, alkaline cleaners or bleach for normal cleaning as these might etch the surface.
Frames
Powder coated surfaces are very easy to look after. Slightly dirty surfaces can be cleaned using a moist cloth. Use pH neutral detergent on dirtier surfaces and finish off using clean water.
Don’t use abrasive or scouring cleaning agents as they will damage the powder coated surface. Never use strong solvents such as thinners or solutions containing chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters or ketones.
Plastics
Plastic chair components do not usually require any special care. Surfaces that are slightly dirty can be cleaned with a moistened cloth. Much dirtier surfaces can be cleaned using gentle, neutral cleaners.
